We have all experienced the distinct difference between a “house” and a “home.” The Arc of Opportunity’s goal with the Home Support program is to help individuals and their families to create a home that meets their specific needs while creating the opportunity to be an active part of the community.
The Arc of Opportunity provides choices for individuals with disabilities to live in a home where they will be comfortable, whether in a private apartment, the home of a family member or caregiver, or a group home. The program supports people who have brain injuries, physical, intellectual or developmental disabilities, autism, and seniors.
We also coordinate our services with other community support providers to allow for the highest level of success with the desired arrangement. We are open for referrals requiring basic to high levels of need. Home Supports encourages self-direction, individual choice & control, and individual management of services.
