Dane Durepo begins his new role at The Arc of Opportunity with nearly a decade of experience working in the Human Services field. Dane graduated from Worcester State University with an undergraduate degree in History and Pre-Law. After graduating, he began working in Human Services and shifted his focus towards Applied Behavior Analysis. While accruing experience within the field, Dane achieved a master’s degree from Fitchburg State University in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Dane has experience in supervisory roles in the past such as a Case Manager, Special Education teacher, Clinical Manager of an ABA clinic, and Clinician. He has acquired a variety of skills and additional certifications such as Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst in the state of Massachusetts, and training around trauma-informed care in relation to individuals with developmental disabilities. Previously, Dane worked in children's services but since coming to The Arc of Opportunity he has worked to support individuals with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and individuals struggling with substance abuse. He works diligently to focus on a person-centered approach while increasing the quality of life for those he supports here at The Arc.
Dane enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and their two dogs. Dane is active within the U.S. Masters swimming community and enjoys golfing and hiking in his spare time.
