Mamoud Mansaray

Mamoud, born in Sierra Leone, West Africa, attended Saint Edward's Secondary School, a Roman Catholic institution that deeply shaped his Christian faith. His devotion remains strong as he prays daily, always concluding with the Holy Mary.

After immigrating to the United States, Mamoud initially settled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before relocating to Worcester, Massachusetts. He pursued higher education at Fitchburg State University, where he developed a firm dedication to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Over the years, he has progressed through various roles in human services, starting as a DSP (Direct Support Professional) for overnight and second shifts, moving up to Residential Supervisor, Residential Coordinator, Residential Manager, and Residential Programs Director. He now serves as the Division Director of ABI Residential Supports at The Arc, where he continues his commitment to making a lasting, positive impact in his community.

Outside of his professional work, Mamoud is passionate about supporting the education of underprivileged children in Sierra Leone, regularly donating school supplies to improve their learning opportunities.
