Phil joined The Arc in March 2023 with over 25 years of experience in the Human Service Field. At the age of 15 Phil started working at a local nursing home with the elderly. He quickly learned that working in the human service field and caring for people was a passion of his. Phil graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and began working within the non-profit sector in 2005. In 2008 Phil moved to West Virginia to work with families that had Child Protective Service involvement with a focus on securing housing, employment, and rehab support for those in need. In 2013 Phil moved back to Massachusetts and re-entered the non-profit sector working within the group home setting.
Phil lives in Lunenburg with his partner, Kate, and their menagerie of animals consisting of dogs, cats, and foster children. Phil is an avid football fan and depending on the weather can be found most weekends floating in the pool and cooking on the grill.
