Justine Buckley is delighted to join The Arc of Opportunity as Division Director of Day Habilitation and Family Supports. Her 10-year career in human services spans a wide range of experiences including one-on-one care and support, developing and implementing Positive Behavior Support systems, and various supervisory roles. At Life-Skills, Inc. she worked as a Direct Support Professional, Case Manager, Positive Behavior Support Coordinator, and Behavior Specialist. This wide range of responsibilities has given Justine a varied skill set as a team player, clear communicator and effective leader. Her evidence-based work with individuals, families, and care professionals centers around compassion, innovation, positive outcomes, and enhanced quality of life.
Justine received her B.A. in Psychology from UMass Amherst. She is a Certified Trainer of Proactive Approaches to Behavioral Challenges and a Certified Universal Positive Behavioral Support Trainer. In her spare time she enjoys songwriting, the outdoors, and spending time with her two sons, horse, mini horse, chickens, ducks and two dogs.
