Shannon Barrett

Shannon is LADC credentialed, specializing in Crisis Counseling, Individual Counseling, and Group Therapy. Shannon’s abilities in managing a multidisciplinary team approach to the care of individuals with dual diagnoses have led to awards and accolades from state, local, and federal entities. An experienced Program Director and Administrator, Shannon has expertise in clinical operations, developing new strategies focused on quality care, streamlining compliance, and leading program expansion. With a demonstrated history of success in the mental health and substance use disorder care industry, Shannon is skilled in communication, policy development, team building, and community-based networking.

A Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University, earned in 2018, supports a strong foundation in the field. Shannon has spent the last 14 years working in various human service settings, advocating for community change around stigma and accessibility. Shannon has also served on the Board of Directors for several local grassroots non-profit organizations and plays an active role in youth education advocacy and community self-help organizations.

Beyond professional pursuits, Shannon enjoys camping with family and friends, gardening, and music. While handy with DIY projects, these ventures occasionally end with a call to the professionals!
