Lindsay Roper is excited to return to The Arc as Division Director of Nursing, where she embraces a leadership philosophy focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion that trickles down from the top! She is deeply aligned with The Arc’s mission to empower individuals with disabilities and their families, helping them lead more fulfilling lives by promoting inclusion and enhancing their quality of life.
As an experienced nurse leader, Lindsay brings a strong leadership background to drive improvements in person-centered care, nursing team development, and organizational culture. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Fitchburg State University and is passionate about fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive, creating a workplace that values diverse perspectives and experiences.
In her previous role as Lead Clinical Nursing Supervisor at WeCare365 AFC, Lindsay led a team of nurse case managers across various service areas in Massachusetts, providing direct oversight, quality assurance tracking, and staff development.
Throughout her career, Lindsay has held several leadership roles, including serving as Nursing Supervisor, Residential Nurse, Division Director, and Nurse Educator. In these positions, she directed nursing services both inpatient and, in the community, developed educational programs and implemented training initiatives that significantly improved patient care and staff performance, particularly for members of underserved communities. Her experience spans a range of healthcare settings, where she managed both medical and behavioral health nursing management, mentored staff, and contributed to quality improvement efforts for patients, individuals, and families.
In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys outdoor adventures with her loved ones, including hiking, biking, art, and exploring nature. Her passion for community health and well-being extends beyond the workplace, where she finds balance in being outdoors.
