With over 17 years of experience in the human services field, Angela joined The Arc of Opportunity as the Vice President of Home Supports and is now our Chief Programming Officer. During the span of her career, she spent the last 13 years in various leadership roles overseeing operations, services, recruiting, staffing, and quality enhancement activities of various departments. She brings a vision-driven approach to everything she does including decision-making, growing, scaling departments to additional sites, leading change management efforts, and implementing effective systems.
Angela has advocated for and worked directly with vulnerable populations that include but are not limited to individuals that are primarily diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury, and dual diagnoses. She has extensive experience supporting those who live in DDS funded residential programs, In-Home Supports, and individuals receiving other related services.
Angela obtained her Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Social Psychology with a minor in Communication degrees from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Along with supporting The Arc’s movement, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She’s also an avid reader, traveler, and works to continuously develop herself personally and professionally.
