Kristen joined The Arc of Opportunity in June 2023 as the Vice President of Home Supports. Kristen comes to The Arc with over 25 years of experience in adult corrections, and juvenile community-based and adjudicated programs. Kristen has spent much of her career overseeing operations, developing staff, and nurturing relationships in the community. She has a history of fostering creative educational, vocational, and recreational opportunities for the populations she served.
Kristen completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at Stonehill College with Majors in Psychology and Philosophy. During her internship working as a job coach for individuals with disabilities, Kristen developed her passion for the human services field and spent her early career working with a variety of populations to broaden her experiences. As her supervisory and administrative experience grew, she completed her Master of Science in Administration of Justice at Salve Regina University.
When she is not working on developing her ownership with The Arc, Kristen can be found attending music festivals with her partner and friends, motorcycling, and taking road trips whenever and wherever she can. Besides her passion for the work she does, Kristen is also passionate about cooking, her family, and her fur (and reptile) babies.
